Nancy has been busy sharing the book at numerous events including school visits, speaking about literacy, a Boy’s and Girl’s club event with the Food Bank, Kid’s Exp in Katy, and giving out Free books to underserved families through a Food Pantry as part of a research study she conducted to name a few. SCHEDULE AN AUTHOR VISIT TO YOUR SCHOOL OR EVENT
Do you have a child or grandchild in elementary school? I would love to visit their school and share The Adventures of Mighty the Mini Rolling Pin with the children! Schools love to have authors visit and do presentations. It is easy to do. You can share my website with your child’s teacher or share their contact information with me if you have permission from them. I have also created teacher resources that are free to download.
Author visits are also appropriate for all types of events. My developing book series is centered around children entertained while developing life skills and learning about baking. Presentations can be geared to a variety of topics for educators, parents, professional groups or older students who are curious about learning to write. In addition, my mission to create Rolling Pin Reading rooms is of paramount importance to address the literacy crisis and this is a topic to discuss for an event presentation.
